CATHOLIC BARCELONA is an ongoing, English-language project showcasing Barcelona’s Catholic heritage, with the hope of increasing interest in pilgrimage and devotion at the city’s many Christian sites. The entries are added to or corrected as new information is made known to me. It is difficult to find history, images, etc. about the many wonderful Christian structures and institutions in Barcelona. To publish a single entry I have to perform extensive research on dozens of sites, translating documents from Catalan, Castilian, and other languages, for the benefit of my English-speaking audience.
